"I tried really hard to tell my parents how I felt, but it didn't come out right - and they just cut me off. It took a lot for me to get up the nerve to express myself, and it was a complete failure!" - Rosa.

I've had this same issue before in the past. First of all, you need understandings.
First, you need to understand yourself - what do you always do wrong? How do you normally make your approach?
Secondly, you need to understand your parents. You might want them to understand you but without you understanding them first will always prove abortive.
When you understand them, you will know better how to approach them and how to talk to them. Then, they will become your friends.

So true parents have a lot on their mind but children are always their number one responsibility so they should always make out time to talk
